The Dinton Community Events Team (Dinton CET) has a substantial and positive impact on parish life by by bringing together the 5 villages of the parish, Dinton, Upton, Ford, Westlington and Gibraltar, fostering community spirit, inclusion, and engagement among residents of all ages.
Through a diverse calendar of well-attended social and cultural events—such as the Midsummer Ball, Firework Display, Conker Championships, charity fundraisers, and communal celebrations—Dinton CET brings together individuals and families, creating opportunities for social connection and shared tradition.

These events not only provide entertainment but also support local charities (e.g., significant funds raised for the Florence Nightingale Hospice and Dinton Church Fabric Fund), enhance parish facilities (with Dinton CET donations toward improvements), and reinforce a sense of belonging within the village.
Dinton CET actively recovers event costs and secures community donations, ensuring the sustainability of its annual programmes and making these gatherings accessible to as many parishioners as possible. Through its collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive participation, Dinton CET strengthens the parish’s communal bonds and continuity of village traditions, contributing to a vibrant and cohesive rural community.
